The popular sounds during the '80s and '90s had of its emphasis on danceable, funky grooves, jazz-funk. This type of music became highly popular in the British underground music scene (where it was known as "rare groove") when it was rediscovered during the mid- to late '80s. The especially hardcore funk fanatics spend much of their waking hours searching for something called “rare groove:”. Our compilation of rare grooves include heavy and obscure tracks that are being used by Hip Hop producers & also highlights tunes yet to be unearthed.
